The Maurice Alford Memorial Scholarship.
The Morris Theatre Guild's Alford Memorial Scholarship for 2006 was presented to Brianna Pursell, Senior Graduate from Minooka High School on May 8th, 2006 during the high school's annual awards night. Pictured is Guild Treasurer Randy Lowery with Brianna Pursell, who will study opera performance at DePaul University.
The scholarship is given in memory of the late Maurice Alford, a charter member of the Morris Theatre Guild, whose talents in these areas were an asset to the Guild for over 25 years.
New Scholarship applications must be postmarked no later than March 15, 2008.
