Morris
Theatre Guild
Annual Awards Night 2006
photos of the event are below
The Morris Theatre Guild held its annual awards banquet at the Theatre Saturday night, August 26th. Many veteran members along with new members and guests were present. Among these were Dave & Nicky Bell, charter members of the Morris Theatre Guild visiting all the way from Arizona. Bonnie Downes was also present after recently moving to Burlington Iowa. Bonnie's contributions both on and off stage, and especially her directing talents will sorely be missed by all of us at the Guild along with our audiences. Thanks for EVERYTHING Bonnie!
The pot luck dinner was delicious and filling as always. Paula Rybak, guild president was the gracious hostess for the event, and lead the members in a brief general membership meeting.
A highlight DVD was prepared by James Hastings and viewed at the banquet and enjoyed by all. BTW...a little bird told me that James was settling into his new dwelling at college the weekend of the banquet, while his parents were preparing a big move to Texas. With only two weeks to get it done, James got this steller DVD done for us! It was GREAT James. Thank You! This Web Master believes you will go FAR!
